We understand that when you place an order from Prolight films.com, you want it as soon as possible, and we do our best to make that happen! Most items we sell will ship within 48 hours of you placing an order, and many times even the same day if ordered early enough. Sometimes there are exceptions where products will take longer to process and get out to you. We try and communicate that or contact you once an order has been placed to make you aware. If you have any questions or concerns though, feel free to contact us and we'd be happy to tell you how quickly an order can ship.Most of our products are stocked and shipped from our Southern California location. Certain items may ship directly from one of our distributors, or even from the manufacturer. These are normally instances that may potentially delay processing time. If you have any hesitation or concern, shoot us a message. We do everything that we can to ensure an order is shipped out as quickly as possible, regardless of where it ships from.Typically orders will be shipped USPS Priority or Express mail, however Prolight films.com reserves the right to use an equivalent shipping method if necessary. We chose USPS because orders typically cost less to ship, which saves you some money, they deliver on Saturday, and transit time in most cases is within 2-3 business days. Generally if an order is ready to ship out, we'll update your order with the tracking # the night before.
Shipping Method Explanation
USPS Priority Mail - USPS Priority Mail is estimated 2-3 business days within the US. This is only applicable for actual transit time, and does not factor in order processing time. Occasionally high volume times like the holidays and tradeshow season we've seen longer delays. When in doubt, choose Express Mail. especially during high volume times. For an accurate estimate, see the USPS website. USPS Express Mail - USPS Express Mail is typically guaranteed overnight within the US but occasionally does take 2 days depending on when the package is processed. To be safe, we will state that your package is guaranteed within 2 days, but the majority of the time this service will be overnight. This is only applicable for actual transit time, and does not factor in order processing time. Internationally, it's generally 6-8 business days, but does not include time in customs. All international orders payments must be made via paypal confirmed address only upon our discretion, or TT- wiretransfer depending of the order. All customers are responsible all import fees and duties.
Damaged In Shipping
While we do everything we can to ensure orders are properly packaged, occasionally an item will arrive damaged. If this happens to you, contact Prolight films.com customer service immediately. Claims are handled through the shipping carrier (typically USPS) and unfortunately is a time consuming process. We ask that you are understanding, and work with us to resolve any issues. We will do what you can to ensure you are taken care of.
Prolight films.com does not generally take backorders on products, but occasionally if there is a scenario where we ran out of stock, but know that we have more en route to us, we may begin to take orders early. Because there is typically a longer processing time waiting for the product to arrive, you will be notified of the backorder during your checkout process. If you have any questions, concerns, or would like to get an idea of when we're expecting the product back in stock, please drop us a line.
At times shipping prices may need to be adjusted as our shopping cart doesn't always provide 100% accurate quotes. In these instances, we'll get in touch with prior to charging your credit card.
Certain orders may be shipped with signature required. Somebody must be there to sign for your package. If nobody is available and the package ends up being sent back to us, you will be responsible for further shipping charges. We only ship to the address on your credit card. We will ship to a 3rd party address if product is paid via Bank Wire Transfer. If there are issues with signing your package, please let us know prior to ordering. When packages do not require a signature, they will be left at your door or secure place at the discretion of your delivery person. A package is only insured during the shipping transit, we cannot be responsible for packages that are lost while the tracking # shows it was delivered. If this occurs, we will work with you to open an investigation with the appropriate shipping provider, but please note that this is a time consuming process.
